This is recommended for 3 years old and above, but there are simple sight words like 'a', 'the', 'she', 'he', therefore it is recommended to any parents who would love to expose to the children sight words.
The emphasis of recognising sight words (or known as high frequency sight words) is so that the child can memorise the word by sight and will be automatically recognise these words in books without having to use any strategies to decode the word.
You may create short phrases/sentences to help build on language as well as application of the sight words. You may also do like a game by sounding out the sight words and your child finds for the card.
